The Sustainable Innovation Camp is a 3-day case challenge where you work in a team to solve a case provided by a company.
During the days you will learn about innovation tools and gain team working skills, while working on solving a real-life problem, closely connected to a company.
Participation is free of charge, and food and drinks will be provided.
By providing participants with a blend of classroom learning and practical experience, we ensure that they develop both the soft and hard skills necessary to navigate the complexities of sustainability in the corporate world. Ultimately, the camp serves as a catalyst for preparing youth to lead impactful careers that contribute to Denmark’s ambitious green transition and global sustainability goals.
Digital footprint
Our digital footprints, though essential in today’s world, carry hidden environmental costs due to the hefty energy use and carbon emissions of data centers. These hubs, which power our online lives, are significant contributors to greenhouse gases and resource depletion.
As our digital habits grow, so does the environmental impact, highlighting the urgent need to rethink how we manage data. By shifting to energy-efficient technologies, harnessing renewable energy, and adopting smarter cooling systems, we can drastically cut down the ecological toll.
Rethinking and innovating data center operations isn’t just a green choice—it’s a business imperative for a sustainable future.
Work on your pace
The camp will start with an online kick-off day on October 23th, where you will be part of a workshop on SDGs, will have an expert discussing digital footprint, will meet your teammates and get the case presented.
After the kick-off day, you and your team will decide together when you will be working on the case, and how much you will dedicate to it. We recommend allocating 4-8 hours during the day, online sparring will be provided during this time.
Everybody meets again, this time in person, at the finals on the 25th of June from 13:00, where the teams present their solutions to the company and the rest of the camp, and we celebrate the winners.
