The Sustainable Innovation Camp is a 3-day case challenge where you work in a team to solve a case provided by a company.
During the days you will learn about innovation tools and gain team working skills, while working on solving a real-life problem, closely connected to a company.
Participation is free of charge, and food and drinks will be provided.
By providing participants with a blend of classroom learning and practical experience, we ensure that they develop both the soft and hard skills necessary to navigate the complexities of sustainability in the corporate world. Ultimately, the camp serves as a catalyst for preparing youth to lead impactful careers that contribute to Denmark’s ambitious green transition and global sustainability goals.
Christmas Consumerism
Each year, millions of people are encouraged to purchase more Christmas goods, embrace extensive decorations, and prioritize material gifts over more meaningful exchanges.
Unfortunately, this has led to significant environmental impacts, from excessive waste to a surge in carbon emissions due to shipping and manufacturing. To truly capture the holiday spirit in a sustainable way, it’s essential to rethink the role of consumption and the ways we celebrate.
What if we could envision a holiday season that prioritizes sustainability alongside the joy and warmth of Christmas? What if instead of focusing on material goods, we could consider solutions that elevate meaningful interactions, local goods, and waste reduction?
How might we shift our focus toward experiences, creativity, and sustainable practices that bring people together without compromising the environment? From eco-friendly gift alternatives to low-impact decorations, there are endless ways to reinvent Christmas traditions in a way that supports our planet.
For this camp, we hope that each of you will bring fresh ideas that blend the essence of the holiday with the urgency of environmental responsibility.
Let’s aim for a Christmas where our celebrations not only reflect love and generosity but also respect for the natural world. This is an opportunity to set an inspiring example for future generations – a Christmas celebration that aligns joy and care for the planet!
