Sustainable Innovation Camp is a 2-day case challenge where you work in a team to solve a case provided by a company.
During the days you will learn about innovation tools and gain team working skills, while working on solving a real-life problem, closely connected to a company.
Participation is free of charge, and food and drinks will be provided.
By providing participants with a blend of classroom learning and practical experience, we ensure that they develop both the soft and hard skills necessary to navigate the complexities of sustainability in the corporate world. Ultimately, the camp serves as a catalyst for preparing youth to lead impactful careers that contribute to Denmark’s ambitious green transition and global sustainability goals
Mobility and transport
Europe’s aim to become climate-neutral by 2050 hinges on establishing a sustainable mobility system.
This involves adopting cleaner and more active modes of transportation, as well as using cleaner fuels and enhancing mobility plans. Sustainability is crucial in transport and mobility because the current transportation model has significant negative impacts on both the environment and human health.
The transportation sector alone contributes to approximately a quarter of the EU’s total greenhouse gas emissions, which have risen since 1990. Transportation activities have led to various forms of pollution, including air and noise pollution, as well as habitat fragmentation.
Sustainable transportation options, such as electric vehicles and renewable energy-powered infrastructure, help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate climate change impacts, contributing to a more sustainable and resilient future.
Work on your pace
The camp will start with a kick-off day, where you meet your teammates and get the case presented. The kick-off day will be on the June 17 from 9:30 to 15:00.
After the kick-off day, you will work individually with your team. You decide together when you will be working on the case, and how much. We recommend allocating 6-12 hours during the days, online sparring will be provided during this time.
Everybody meets again at the finals on the June 26 from 13:00 to 16:00, where the teams present their solutions to the company and the rest of the camp, and we celebrate the winners.
